As an interesting follow-up to a recent post about the "Holodek" video arcade concept and my own ideas about rentable auditoriums for entertainment media, I came across this post on bigscreenbiz.com. This operator charges $40 an hour for use of a digital projector on a really big screen. For a four player game like Halo, that boils down to about 10 bucks per person per hour. Which is a pretty reasonable deal. The more evidence that this could be a viable business, the better.
